Chocolate Ice-Cream

Smooth & incredibly delicious ice-cream that is unbelievably easy to prepare and does not require any cooking or any special ice-cream machine. It can be prepared in just 15 minutes and rest of the job is done by your freezer.

Ingredients

  1. 3 tablespoons milk chocolate chips + 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips
  2. 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  3. 150 ml heavy cream
  4. 2 tablespoons condensed milk
  5. 2 tablespoons milk
  6. 5 tablespoons powdered sugar

Method

  1. Pour the heavy cream in a large bowl and place this bowl in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. If you are going to use a hand whisk, place it in the freezer as well with the cream.
  2. Place condensed milk in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
  3. After chilling the heavy cream in the freezer, beat it using a hand or electric whisk until soft peaks are formed.
  4. Take the milk & dark chocolate in a microwaveable bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. Mix well and heat again in the microwave for 20 seconds. Mix well till the chocolate looks smooth & nicely melted. Keep aside and let it cool slightly.
  5. Take 3 tablespoons milk in a cup and heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Add the cocoa powder and powdered sugar and mix well into a smooth paste without any lumps. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence to this paste.
  6. Add chilled condensed milk, melted chocolate and cocoa powder paste to the whipped cream. Mix gently using a spatula until just combined. Do not over mix.
  7. Pour this amazing mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 6 hours or overnight .
  8. Scoop out in cones or ice-cream bowls and garnish with your favorite toppings.
