Cheese & Vegetable Sandwich

Vibrant & delicious sandwiches that can be prepared very quickly with ingredients mostly available at home. Crispy from outside with cheese oozing in every bite, these sandwiches are absolutely divine and a great hit with kids!

Ingredients

  1. Ingredients for Stuffing:
  2. 1 small onion, finely chopped
  3. 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  4. 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  5. 2 tablespoons grated cheese
  6. 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Other ingredients:
  9. 6 slices bread
  10. 2 teaspoons butter

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients for stuffing in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Place 3 slices of bread in a dish and spread the prepared cheese stuffing generously on each slice with the help of a spoon. Cover each of them with a bread slice.
  3. Apply little butter on the outer sides of the sandwiches and keep aside.
  4. Pre-heat a sandwich grill or a grill pan and brush little butter on it. Grill the sandwiches for 3-4 minutes or until light brown and crispy from both sides.
  5. Cut the sandwiches diagonally. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
