Banana Oats Pancakes

Melt-in-mouth pancakes prepared by combining the health benefits of oats and bananas with the divine taste of maple syrup. These delectable pancakes packed with nutritious goodness will be a great hit with kids as well as adults in your family.

  1. 2 ripe bananas
  2. 1 egg
  3. 1 cup oats
  4. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  5. 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  6. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  7. 1 teaspoon chopped pecans or any nuts of your choice
  8. 1 tablespoon oil


  1. Put the peeled bananas, egg, oats, vanilla essence and maple syrup in a blender. Blend for about 1 minute to make a smooth batter.
  2. Take the batter out in a bowl and add baking powder. Mix well.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan with a dash of oil. Pour 2 tablespoons of the batter into the pan, cook on one side for about 1 minute, then turn and cook on the other side until golden brown.
  4. Repeat the same process for making pancakes with rest of the batter.
  5. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup, chopped pecans and banana slices or any other fresh fruit of your choice.
